I’ve had a few woodies ask why video won’t play on their iPhones anymore, and I’ve confirmed video doesn’t work on my iPhone either.

After digging into the issue it turns out it’s Apple’s fault, of all people. iOS 17.4 breaks compatibility with video.js, the container my videos are delivered in. Developers for the video.js platform have noted that the issue is fixed in the iOS 17.5 developer preview, which Apple is expected to release publicly in the coming weeks.

Hang tight, and load up your faves on a desktop or android browser in the meantime. Apologies for the inconvenience!
